Building a Legacy of Hope, One Unit at a Time
Scott Kiolbassa is the Founder and Pastor of UFM. Along with his wife Ruby, and son Logan, they are establishing this urban outreach right in the heart of the Lincoln Heights Courts, Alazan-Apache Courts and Mirasol Homes on the westside of San Antonio.
Scott has a BA in Philosophy and English from UTSA and an MA in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. He has taught for over 10 years at UIW and has served for over 20 years in various ministries.
Scott's desire is to bring faith, passion and direction to the lives of young people who are facing real challenges.
We value relationships. At the end of the day what really changes people is not just the events or programs by themselves. Rather, it is the relationships that are formed week in and week out.
We value love. We care about the needs of the whole person. We desire to see each student develop in the areas of education, faith and life skills. We also try to send aid to help impact their home life.
We value Jesus. There are so many issues that require a second family to help support and sustain faith in an individual. Whatever we do, large or small, Jesus is at the center of it.
We value what we do. We strive to do everything in a professional, safe and encouraging way. We are here to lift up the spirits of our families. We show up when we say we will. We are consistent.
